Whangamata Bowling Club​

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, 1-3 of December was our Bowling Club"s Three Day Classic. It was an amazing success, with bowlers from as far away as Auckland, Orewa, Hamilton and Waihi Beach. We had four wonderful Sponsors, First Mortgage Trust, New World Supermarket, Whangamata Club and Challenge Service Station. The Club is delighted to receive a generous grant of $4,500 from The Lion Foundation to assist with the cost of purchasing a new sprayer for our Grass Green. Our club’s green is widely recognised as among one of the best in the region and is a great source of pride for both our members and the wider bowling community. During the summer months the greens are in near constant use, hosting everything from club play and social bowls to Thames Valley Centre and Regional Tournamen
