Thanks to the Lion Foundation

The Club is delighted to receive a generous grant of $4,500 from The Lion Foundation to assist with the cost of purchasing a new sprayer for our Grass Green.

Our club’s green is widely recognised as among one of the best in the region and is a great source of pride for both our members and the wider bowling community. During the summer months the greens are in near constant use, hosting everything from club play and social bowls to Thames Valley Centre and Regional Tournaments.

Maintaining greens to this standard requires specialist equipment and knowledge and consistent, expert care. The expertise provided by our Greenkeepers is essential to ensuring our playing surfaces remain in top condition.

The support from The Lion Foundation grant and its gaming venue at Smoky Pallet will help us to sustain the exceptional standard of our facilities and continue to host events that benefit both our club and the wider community.
